One Four Nine obtains Cyber Essentials Plus certification
In a world where online security is paramount to defend against the increasing threat of cyber-attacks from individuals and groups, we are pleased to announce that we have taken the necessary steps to protect ourselves through Cyber Essentials.
Cyber Essentials is a Government-backed and industry-supported scheme that helps businesses fight against those looking to maliciously harm organisations in a bid to make the internet safer. It was developed and operated by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), and is considered the best first step to a more secure network, protecting organisations from 80% of the most basic cyber security breaches.
Cyber Essentials is a certification that proves our credentials as being trustworthy and secure when it comes to cyber security. One Four Nine takes data protection very seriously and this certification should provide peace of mind to all staff and clients.
The certification defines a focused set of controls which provide clear guidance on basic cyber security for organisations of all sizes and offers a sound foundation of cyber security measures that One Four Nine has implemented.
One Four Nine has recently obtained Cyber Essentials Plus, the highest level of certification offered under the scheme. This certification saw cyber security experts performed rigorous tests against our cyber security systems to test vulnerabilities against hacking and phishing attacks. This achievement is testament to the hard work carried out by Steven Parsons, Head of IT.
